Some nights are not as good as others! Danny and his Shred 360 Monte Carlo made their 4th trip of the year to Dillon Motor Speedway Saturday night. Danny and the crew had high hopes after winning the last race there. "From the start of practice the motor had a vibration" said Danny, "The crew worked non-stop trying to find it. They changed everything imaginable."
After a 6th place qualifying out of 18 late models, Danny moved the car forward in the field to as high as 3rd but the vibration worsened. Danny settled for a 6th place finish with a very weak motor and an altercation with another car.
The motor must now come out so the engine builder can find the problem. Oh well!
See you at the next race in Dillon on September 8th.

After working 20 of the last 24 hours getting the new motor in the Shred 360 Monte Carlo we arrived at the Dillon Motor Speedway just in time to get a few laps of practice in before qualifying! Danny qualified 8th in a strong field of 17 late models. "A few changes had to made to the car to adjust the handling because of the new motor" said Danny "But the new motor had more power that the last one, and I was able to race much better." He passed the lead car on lap 30 and held on to gain his first win at the new Dillon speedway!
Danny's next race will be at Dillon next Saturday the 25th.
See you at the racess!

Danny and the DER team are all set to race the Shred 360 Monte Carlo at Dillon Motor Speedway on Saturday night! "The handling on the car was great in the last race, but we were down on horspower compaired to the other cars." said Danny. " So we have been busy putting in a new motor this week. Last week's second place was good, but I sure would like to win this week!"

NO RAIN!

At last, a hot and clear weekend of racing with no rain! The Shred 360 Monte Carlo Late Model with Danny aboard was back at Dillon Raceway Saturday night. The team had spent the week preparing a new chassis for the race and was excited to try it out.
The car got better with each practice session leading to a seventh place starting position. During the 75 lap race Danny steadily progressed to an excellent 2nd place finish. "The car handled the best I have ever had" said Danny after the race, " the engine was an older one we had left over from last year and we did not have straight-away power but we will solve that". Danny will not be back behind the wheel of a NASCAR Busch Series car during August so the team expects to be back at Dillon in two weeks.
